A film project
Help us make short videos for YouTube and TikTok — filming working equipment, telling the stories behind it, and editing it into clips that get people interested in how communications work.
An archive project
Catalogue and photograph documents and equipment so more of what we hold can be found and shared.
A research & writing project
Pick a piece of equipment or a system, research its history and write it up for the eMuseum, where schools and the public will read it.
Something else
Have an idea that fits what you're working towards? Tell us, and we'll say honestly whether it's something we can support.
Tell us what you're working towards
Every group is different, so there's no set programme. Send us a short email covering:
- Who you are — a Scout Explorer or Network group, a DofE participant, a society, undertaking a course
- What you're aiming to achieve, and by when
- How many of you there are, and how much time you could give
- Anything you'd especially like to try or learn
We'll reply, talk through what's practical, and let you know honestly if it isn't a good fit.
